Hyaluronic fillers - Basic module
Hyaluronic fillers, dermal fillers, fillers or hyaluronic acid are synonyms for treating wrinkles on the face with hyaluronic acid. Fillers are ge-like substances that are injected into or beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines, soften creases, augment lips or enhance facial contours. In recent years, fillers have become the gold standard for treating wrinkles on the face and allow the patient to immediately return to his or her activities after the treatment.
The BASIC Module is ideal for medical doctors and dentists who are at the beginning and want to start with aesthetic treatments and do not have any prior knowledge. Since we know how scary the beginnings can be, we have designed our BASIC Module so that during the education you will go through a detailed anatomy of the areas you will treat with an emphasis on the circulatory system and a detailed explanation of how to prevent, and if it happens, treat complications. In the BASIC Module, you go through the detailed anatomy of the filler treatment area and tips & tricks on the patient for even better results.
In our BASIC Module, in addition to tips & tricks, you can ask and go through all the questions and concerns with the mentor on the spot in order to forget your fear and gain confidence that you can treat patients on your own after education. Although in most of the world cannulas fall under advanced techniques or even separate education, in our BASIC Module, you go through both working with cannulas and working with needles.
Each of our modules consists of a THEORETICAL and HANDS-ON PRACTICAL part where, after education, in the presence of a mentor, you inject patient yourself. Our modules are designed so that you can ask and go through all the questions and concerns with the mentor during the time of training. The mentors are exclusively plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery specialists.

- Physiology and pharmacology of fillers
- Types of fillers and different brands
- Storage and use of fillers
- Indications and contraindications
- Clinical evaluation of the patient and consultation for treatment with fillers
- Detailed anatomy with an emphasis on the circulatory system
- Taking anatomical landmarks as injection guidelines
- Types of anaesthesia in filler treatment
- Hyaluronidase - reconstitution and dosage
- Prevention, early recognition and management of side effects
- Prevention, early recognition and management of complications
- Types of syringes and needles used to inject fillers
- Injection techniques
- How to work with a needle and cannula
- Required consumables
- Combining fillers with other different aesthetic treatments
- Proper photo documentation of the patient
- Patient Forms and Consents
- Writing findings
- Instructions for patients after treatment
Practical part of the training (hands-on):
- Proper consultation, patient examination and patient assessment
- Patient anatomy
- Proper photo documentation
- The practical part of the work (injection) on the patient himself
- Working with a needle and cannula
- Recommendations after treatment

The candidate can, if there is space, apply for both the BASIC and ADVANCED modules on the same day.
